Hardwick Road

Planting design in The Park, Nottingham.

  • The small beds surrounding the patio area needed brightening up so the likes of pansies, heather, cowslip, bleeding heart and hollyhock were used.

  • Climbers such as honeysuckle were also added to grow up the wall.

  • An olive and apple tree were planted to add structure to the garden and camelias created an entrance to the higher levels of the garden.

  • Aubretia was planted to grow into a thick purple border and areas for raspberries and strawberries were made, adding different elements to compliment each other.
