The small beds surrounding the patio area needed brightening up so the likes of pansies, heather, cowslip, bleeding heart and hollyhock were used.
Climbers such as honeysuckle were also added to grow up the wall.
An olive and apple tree were planted to add structure to the garden and camelias created an entrance to the higher levels of the garden.
Aubretia was planted to grow into a thick purple border and areas for raspberries and strawberries were made, adding different elements to compliment each other.
